Haven’t fasted since December 2nd. Failed the whole month.

Making this post for my own accountability.

Started fasting in July, (SW: 230 LBS) and was good until I got to December.

I’ve not fasted since December 2nd and am disappointed in myself,but know I can get back on the train again. Was 188lbs Dec 1st, now at 201.2 - Lots of junk food, not counting calories.

Started my first 16 fast at 8PM tonight, give me strength!

Why are you counting calories ? Seriously, this is a lifestyle not a diet. No wonder you gave up, are you seriously going to count calories when 80? Just use common sense.

You don’t need to hit a certain amount of calories a day to lose weight. Despite what others say, this way of thinking is a diet mentality.

You’ve had your fun, you’ve ate your junk, just use common sense and stop eating when full. Don’t deny yourself the foods you want because you’ll just flip and break the good work you’ve done.

Lifestyle, not diet.

I’m with you! I’ve been gaining and losing the same five pounds since thanksgiving! I’m currently stating day two of a longer fast (Monday to Wednesday) to reset and keep moving forward. We’ve got this! New Year, New You!

This thread is what I needed. I hit my goal last year and at Christmas time i relaxed. Started with sunday breakfasts and before long i was back binging at 11 at night. Im 5 pounds from my starting weight and I feel miserable. Yesterday was my first fast and its 3 hrs till my window and I’m hungry.
