Headache after refeed?

I’ve finished my 2nd day of refeeding after a 6-day dry fast and I have this constant headache. I’ve done several water fasts w/o any issues. Any thoughts on what is going on?

Answer

You’re probably dehydrated from glycogen repletion. Unless you broke your fast with only fatty meat, you’re repleting glycogen. Your muscles need water and potassium to store that glycogen. Keep drinking water and electrolytes. You’re already low on water from dry fasting, andnl now your muscles are sucking up what’s left.

Answer

You needs salts, immediately.Don’t do Gatorade if you can help it, that stuff is trash, if you want a sports drink do body armor.

They have a lyte version with no sugar that’s amazing for breaking a dry fast or erasing migraines.

Don’t get one, get a couple, sip on them, definitely up your magnesium, potassium and sodium in your diet or supplements as well.

Headaches are almost never from dehydration and always from low electrolytes. I can drink a gallon of water and still have a pounding headache, it goes away as soon as I take magnesium, potassium and sodium.
