Hey is there a substitute for wheat flour that is low carbs and low calories? And how often can it be eaten in a week?
What were you going for in terms of ‘healthier’? Are you looking to substitute something for refined white flour or for the grain wheat? (i.e., is whole wheat on the table?) In what kinds of foods? Bread?
There aren’t really any flours that are significantly lower in calories compared to wheat flour. But some lower carb options would be almond flour, soy flour, coconut flour, fava bean flour, and chickpea flour.
And there isn’t really a limit to how much flour you can consume in a week, as long as you’re getting adequate nutrients from the rest of your diet.
