"healthy" sweetener

Hello dear fasting people

What sweeteners are safe to use in the fasting period? I sometimes use Sacharin or stevia, but I wonder whether it would cause an insulin response?

Hello! There is a list of foods that are okay and those that break your fast.

Clean fast:
- unsweetened, unflavoured water (no lemon)
- black coffee
- black/green tea (no lemon/sugar/milk)
- ginger/cardamom/mint tea (no lemon/sugar/milk)
- unsweetened, unflavoured electrolytes
- unsweetened, unflavoured carbonated water
- pink salt in water
Dirty fast:
- apple cider vinegar
- lemon/lime wedge
- other herbal teas
- sugar-free gum/mints
- splash of cream/milk/creamer
- noncaloric sweeteners
stevia, monk fruit, erythritol,
sucralose, aspartame, xylitol
- vitamins and meds
we recommend you take your
meds as directed by your doctor

Broken fast:
- bone broth, soups
- food, protein shake, meal replacement shake
- flavored coffee/tea
- flavored water, diet soda
- sugar, honey, caloric sweeteners
coconut oil, MCT oil, butter
- BCAAs/pre-workout/energy drinks
