Heartburn and headaches

I was aiming for a 15 day fast (I’ve done a few extended fasts in the past with 38 days being the longest one) but had to break after 3 days due to heartburn and headache (I’m generally speaking prone to getting headaches and experience them quite often). Broke with some kimchi, pickles and tofu but didn’t feel much different after so I decided to go into another fast with the goal being 12 days. Now 72 hours in and I’m about to break again due to terrible heartburn. I’ve been keeping up with my electrolytes, my previous much longer fasts where a breeze. I’m also about the same weight as I was then. Does anyone have any experience with those symptoms? Any ideas where they might stem from/ how to make them better?

Magnesium glycinate my friend! I just am finishing out an 8+ day fast and around day 3-4 I had bad headaches. Got some Mg and worked like magic. I suffer from migraines and headaches occasionally so may even try adding that in when I’m not fasting. Hope this helps!!
