Help getting back into fasting

Hi all! So for basically all of 2022, with a few weekends off here and there. I was doing rolling 20:4. I felt amazing!!!!! The holidays and new year kinda flipped things around for me but I’m struggling to start up again. And advice, tips or tricks to get back into my rolling 20:4’s?

Before I fast, I’ll cut out all sugar, and carbs. I will eat mostly fats like butter, cheese, coconut oil, and MCT oil. When I do this 2-3 days prior to fasting, it makes the fasting so much easier. I don’t feel hungry. I’ve found too the longer I fast the less hungry I get. It’s weird.

im sorry im really new to this trying to learn the terms here, what does 20:4 rolling mean? want to try this out and approach it correctly but wanna know some more info all i can. Best of luck with it! sounds like you’ve got a handle on it

Answer

Start slow. Start with 16/8. And do that for few weeks.

If you feel great and think you can do more, then do 18/6.

And after a month I guess your will be back to your 20/4.

After 2 month, maybe you can even do 23/1 (OMAD).

Good luck!
