Help with refeeding plan

Hello all! I am currently on my first 60hr water fast. Do I need to be careful around refeeding with such a short fast? All the information I am finding online seems to address longer fasts. Any guidance is appreciated!

Answer

I do 72h dirty water fasting, and the only issue with refeeding is making sure not to eat too much. You’re not in danger of hurting yourself by jumping straight into a full meal of regular food, but it is easy to get carried away and stuff yourself. I find a handful of pistachios or something small like that 30 minutes before the meal helps me control my portion size.

Answer

Not at all unless you have a problem to begin with. Everybody is different. while most it won’t matter some may get the runs.

Half an hour before food have something to test the waters. For my 96 hour fast I broke it with a cup of cereal with milk. When nothing happened I had a regular meal.
