High ALT, fatty liver since 16 years old

Hi guys I have fatty liver since 16 years old, now I am 27, I started lifting after I was diagnosed and have been consistently doing so before pandemic hit. Yesterday I just got another ultrasound and blood test, my ALT is about 98, I am thinking of going on a longer fast. Last consistent fasting I did was 3 weeks ago and about 18 hours a day for 1 week and half. The longest I did was 39 hours. Should I try a much longer fast? Advices are appreciated

Answer

It is best not to think about the hours, and more think about the insulin as a whole. If you did 16/8 and keto or OMAD with a huge processed carb intake overall you are not talking that much difference. You have to also think about what you eat in those windows when you want to get into anything more than straight up weight loss.
