High calorie meals to eat after my fast ends?

I’m not quite sure if this is the right sub for it but.. Currently I’m fasting religiously (muslim) so I can’t pick the times for my fasting. My first meal of the day would be at around 6AM latest and the second one/breaking my fast at around 5:30PM. So the time where I can eat is 5:30PM-6AM and I find this to be super inconvenient, as I have to get my 1600cals (deficit) in as quickly as possible. I go to sleep at like 9/10PM, and that’s why I try to eat as much as possible after 5:30 in order to not sleep on a full stomach… But it’s a little hard since after a small dinner I’ll feel full already. Is there any better way to solve this? Like super high calorie meals that are still healthy? I could easily reach my daily intake by eating a bag of chips, but I’d prefer sticking to the healthier side. I think my breakfast is huge already with 500cals, but it seems not to be enough for me to reach my 1600calorie goal by the end of the day.

Answer

Prioritize healthy fats. Much more calorie dense. Cook with butter(a high quality one like Irish Butter is my go to) or avocado oil, and also have avocados included in your meals. One avocado + 2tbsp of butter is already 450 calories alone. Include that with your protein and carbs and you can easily reach 1600 calories. For protein choose fatty ones like chicken thighs over breast. Salmon is a good option too though a bit pricey. Also a protein shake goes a long way. You can drink 4-500 calories in like 30 seconds by adding the aforementioned healthy fats to your protein shake. I was doing 1600 calories a day doing OMAD with this method.
