High intensity workout in fasting period

Currently doing F45 at 7.00 AM and im having trouble doing intermittent fasting and HIIT workout. I feel nauseous halve way through. I started intermittent fasting last week but with going back to work and getting up early instead of 10AM feels hard. Last week i also worked out in the afternoon so im my eating window.

Doing 16:8 12noon til 8PM I burn 700 calories a session but the nausea lingers several hours after and i feel like throwing up. I am F32 110kg 175cm

Any advise on how to keep going let me know! (Due to work i need to workout before)

Answer

Hey it is not recommended to do high intensity workout while doing IF. Even I have been in your position and have experienced the same. In case you want to do high intensity workout then do it in eating period and not in fasting period.

Answer

Honestly if you’re not use to it then I would approach it gradually. I’ve worked out in a fasted state for years so I don’t really get the nausea but it is possible. I just wouldn’t jump into a real aggressive workout regiment starting off. Start with a light workout and listen to your body.

I’d leave the workouts for after your first meal. You have to make sure you’re properly fueled before doing an intense workout like HIIT. I used to cheer and if I went to an early morning workout without eating I’d feel absolutely terrible for the rest of the day. Would an evening workout be possible?
