From a macronutrients standpoint, what are the best foods to eat to consume a high amount of protein without significantly increasing fats as well?
There are many high protein low-fat options to consider, have you tried any of the following?
Hope this helps!
chicken, tuna, protein shake is brill. Eggs are ok but if you’re cutting they’re only around 6g of protein per egg. When I was cutting I was on 155g protein a day so didn’t really touch the sides as the main protein but a good snack! Xx
Boneless skinless chicken breast, non-fat Greek yogurt or skyrr, egg whites, Whey isolate protein powder, quinoa, lentils, tofu, buckwheat… the list goes on. However, I do recommend having some healthy fats peppered into your diet.
Pinto beans look like a better choice than lentils to me. Slightly less protein but a higher amino acid score. Also more omega 3 and less omega 6 than lentils.

I love this stuff! Goes on beans, rice, vegetables. Only problem is all that protein really can get sticky and hard to clean off the dishes once it melts and sticks.
Protein Patties: 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped into 2-inch cubes (equal to 2 cups mashed sweet potato) 1 cup quinoa 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided ¼ cup diced onion 2 tablespoons raw shelled hempseed ¼ teaspoon paprika ¼ teaspoon ground cumin ¼ cup panko 1 14-ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed.
Also 1 cup of edamame beans has 18.5 gm protein.

Fat is not your enemy (saturated fats sure) Sugar is poison The human body process fats a lot easier than it does sugar fats in the diet help the body absorb vitamins and minerals and serve other vital roles.
If I’m shopping and I see the same product and one is less fat you can almost guarantee that’s it’s higher in sugar.
Chicken breast, eggs, pistachios, low fat Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese, ricotta, parmesan, tuna, chickpeas, lentils
I was gonna just say egg whites but the yolk contains alot of the good stuff, iron, folate, vitamins.. But if you want to cut as much fat out as possible you can just have whites.
