High Sugar/Carbs vs High Sodium/meat diet?

Satan says, from now on you only get to choose between these two diets:

A: High Sugar and Carbs, like pancakes and waffles with syrup and Nutella every day

B: High sodium and meat, like sausage and bacon sandwiches every day

I’d go with A. Especially if the carbs are mostly whole grain not refined. Also the sugar could mostly come from naturally occurring sugars in fruit and vegetables. Both high sugar and high sodium can lead to cardiovascular problems and high blood pressure. Bacon and sausage contain nitrates and are high in saturated fat and linked to heart disease. Diet A would also fuel my workouts better.
