I have been doing IF for the last 6 months and the results are stunning, I am a male, 19yo, 189cm (6ft 2) and I lost 30kg (66lb) from 125kg (275lb) to 95kg (209lb) with 22:2 / OMAD. I see I lost weight but I lost everything beside my “love handles” from 124cm –> 114cm, and being the most important part, even though I get complimented for loosing weight I don’t see the results in that area. What can I do to eliminate that fat? Is Cardio walking a good option? I hope so because is a thing that I like but never do.
I may not be a expert.
But as far i know and has experienced, abs, and lean belly is 90% eating, 10 % sweating.
So the combo of IF, OMAD, sugar free life, etc may give results in months, like half year or so.
Keep going, be patient, try to npt focus on the pressure of been a six pack person, and more of the endurance of the process.
And will be days that you may lose focus, or desire. Its normal, just try to keep.
You just have to keep going. Adding cardio will help, but you already have a working method and have achieved great results. “Love handles” are one of the last places that will retain fat in men. Our bodies have a preference for storing fat there so it’ll be some of the last to go. But it will go if you keep doing what you’re doing.
Welcome to the ‘final boss fight’.. The ramp-up in difficulty is rather steep. Increasing length of fasting window, is his only known weakness. Even then it usually takes many months to see the visual results.
Exercise gradually loses impact on weight as you get thinner. Still worth doing obviously.
