How disciplined are you guys when you are not fasting? Ok to have dessert daily?

Ok, so I’m getting used to fasting two days a week. My weight is gradually doing down and I’m feeling good. Normally, I wouldn’t touch dessert unless it was a special occasion. Now that I’m losing weight and fasting, I’ve been enjoying ice cream or some other dessert occasionally. What’s amazing about fasting two days a week is that you can eat three meals a day the other five days and still lose weight.

I’m feeling a little guilty about the ice cream. Is it ok?

How much you eat on your non fasted days will affect if and how quickly you lose weight.

Track and monitor frequently to establish trends and then it’s up to you what velocity you can tolerate.

I eat 3 meals per week and try to avoid junk and overeating during those meals. I’m very happy at my velocity of 4 pounds per week over nearly 7 weeks

I hope you mean you eat ice cream only on your non fasting days.

Losing weight is only a numbers game. You have to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. That’s all that matters. There is no good or bad food (we let the healthy or not thing by the side). You could eat pizza and mc donalds every day, as long as you have a calorie deficit, you will lose weight.

If you lose weight, your daily needed calories getting lower each day. It’s easy to overeat. Just watch it and you should be fine.
