I’ve seen posts of people saying they’re doing day long fasts during the week then going back to intermittent fasting. Does the back and forth not throw the body off unlike keeping the same eating schedule?
I’ve done so many times, with no negative repercussions. You’re certainly hungrier during a longer fast than you would be on an intermittent schedule that you’ve become accustomed to. You may also be tempted to overeat, which I noticed I did. I solved that by concentrating on volume eating, where you choose food that fills you up that is low to moderate in calories.
