How do we all feel about OMAD?

Just curious what everyone’s stance on it is! I like do ADF, but my body will not fall asleep unless I have food in my system, so I’m considering doing OMAD. I’ve fasted all day, but I’m wondering if I should just eat now that way I don’t struggle to fall asleep (and yes I’ve tried everything to knock me out)

Dr. Fung has found in his clinic that it works really well for men, but that women tend to stall out on it… so he recommends it for maintenance. I think it would be a great start for someone coming from a SAD, though. In his clinic, ADF is recommended for women. It’s what works best for me, as well. After about a week I get used to it. If you haven’t already, you can add a quarter teaspoon of salt to hot water (about 6 oz) and either sip it or just down it. It’s pretty easy to pretend it’s broth… and it’ll trick you into thinking you have something in your stomach. However hungry I may be on a no eating day, I’m almost never hungry when I wake up the next morning. It gets easier and easier, and I find that I drop weight pretty quickly. Where I struggle is the consistency. I need to keep at it!

I mean it is what works best for you. I also have trouble sleeping on multiple day fasting. For me omad or 2mad works best. Try different things and do what works best for you and you can stick with sustainably. It isn’t a diet but a lifestyle.
