The best way for me to maintain is low carb OMAD with a decent amount of exercise.
I don’t worry if I gain weight though, I tend to lay into carbs when winter kicks in or if I’m on holiday.
If I’m carrying more stored energy than I’d like I just fast and use it up.
I don’t, I bulk up like an artic fox (look it up) during the winter, then I slim down with fasts for 2 months before the summer. then I do whatever till the next winter.
there’s nothing wrong with some weight fluctuations. you don’t have to be skinny year round.
Is common for ppl to do long days to lose weight - because they’d rather do that than face poor eating habits that got them big in the first place.
If you’re going to fast to lose weight, great. But also take the time to develop healthy eating habits.
Also, lots of people stick to some form of time restricted eating for long term. Like 16:8.
