Answer

The electrolytes guide on every post on r/fasting is excellent, read that to estimate the electrolytes you need. I’d start at the lower end and if you feel lightheaded or lacking energy, maybe up them a bit.

I like to use Morton’s Lite Salt (sodium and potassium) mixed with water. A 1/4 tsp is 290mg sodium and 350mg potassium, so I mix 1/2 - 3/4 tsp in a liter of water and drink around 3 liters a day. And I take two 200mg magnesium glycinate tablets, one morning, one night.

Answer

I make an electrolyte water with Mortons Lite Salt and some Magnesium citrate. Then I drink it when I feel like it. I find that my body will tell me if I want electrolytes or plain water. Don’t over think it.
