How do you track your vitamin and mineral intake from foods?

I’d love a simple way to track my vitamins and minerals. It’s hard to figure out if I’m getting enough naturally or not. I tried some fitness apps but they don’t list all the vitamins and minerals, just a few. How do you guys keep track of your daily vitamins and minerals if you don’t supplement?

Answer

Always try to pick the “generic” version of foods. For example, instead of “Kirkland Hemp Hearts”, with 14 listed items, pick “Shelled Hemp Hearts”, with 56 listed items. Just make sure the calories are the same since serving sizes may vary. I use cronometer and sometimes it automatically adds the items from “Shelled Hemp Hearts” to “Kirkland Hemp Hearts”, highlighting added items in blue. Not every food will have a generic version that’s compatible, but it’ll get you 80-90% of the way there. Unless you eat some really exotic stuff
