Answer

There’s only really one correct way to accurately calculate TDEE outside of a lab and that is by using your daily weight + calories consumed over a period of weeks to workout it out. There’s spreadsheets and apps that can do that for you.

Otherwise it’s just guess work. We could have the same BMR but you could work a desk job and I work a very physically active job, our TDEE would be very different.

As a starting place though, just google TDEE calculator. They usually take your gender, weight, height and activity level and apply a multiplier.

Answer

as most things, trial and errors! you can get calculator tht would give you an hint, but as for activity and the way YOU actually burn calories… is impossible to evaluate acurately enough w/o counting cal , weight yourself over weeks .

Answer

I’m not 100% sure how accurate my estimate is, but I usually use online calculators to figure out my BMR (Katch-McArdle has the option to include the body fat percentage). On top of that I include thermic affect of food (Cronometer does the trick) and all calories burned from exercise (I integrated Google Fit into my Cronometer account so I don’t really have to do any calculations).

It’s often an underestimate, but never an overestimate, so I often get to eat some more without change in weight. I guess activity level is the third factor I’m not counting.
