Me: female, 20, 184cm, 87kg Goal: lose weight, get healthier+ fitter
What I plan to eat in a day (roughly) and have been eating yesterday+today and I feel I could keep going like this so I’m looking for reassurance that it’s a good plan:
Joghurt (250g roughly) + 1/3 bag of frozen mangos+blue berries/strawberries/other frozen fruits (enough that every spoon of Joghurt has fruit)
195g tuna fish (one can) + ~170 kidney beans (half of a can) + 140g corn (half of a can) + one fresh avocado with pepper/salt/olive oil + one fist/handful of different nuts.
in the afternoon/evening: 2-3 big oranges, and maybe additionally a bowl of Müsli/porridge with non-processed cacao and Joghurt.
What do you think? Do these have all nutrients that my body needs? I might add a baked fish for the evening and eggs. But otherwise for the last two days this “diet” worked really well for me. I prepare the first two dishes in the morning and eat while studying. I try to eat all of it in the morning for “fasting” so naturally make myself less hungry, but I don’t dare to strictly fast now because it always made me too anxious when I tried in the past. It’s important to have a lot of food available becuase I binge otherwise. The last dish is for when I am hungry in the afternoon/evening so I really feel like I can eat whenever and whatever and as much as I want (2 oranges do the trick already). The only thing I’m not sure about is if the above diet puts me into a caloric deficit (I am questioning this because I didn’t feel hungry yesterday or today). I also started taking vitamins (D3, B12, Magnesium, Calcium) in the mornings, maybe that makes a difference, too.
Jesus no. That is not enough food. Also is your plan to eat this every day? That is not sustainable in any way shape or form and that’s not counting any exercise you may be getting.
This is so restrictive. It may work for a couple of days but is not sustainable long term.
Edit: if I’m getting my conversions right- you’re over 6ft tall and 191 lbs? You are barely considered overweight (according to BMI, which is not a super reliable measure). Being this restrictive with your eating is going to end up doing more harm than good.
