How important is nutrition when it comes to fitness
I think it first it’s very important. I’m going to say something I’m popular that I don’t think nutrition matters as much as an organic food or chemicals, but calories. There are some people with conditions were calories are in a half, but for the vast majority of people, if you’re eating less you’re going to see the weight fall off and vice versa.
Once you’ve lost the way for a while and have a good amount of muscle, I think you can start loosening your diet or at least that’s been my experience. The caveat here, as you have to have a good amount of muscle, so that you burn plenty of calories naturally throughout the day. When I’ve lost weight with lots of cardio and dieting I was “skinny fat” and when I ate more, I gained quickly.
They go hand and hand. Ppl saying you can’t outwork a bad diet are wrong. If you run 60 plus miles a week it won’t matter what you eat, in fact you’ll be struggling to eat enough. You can out work a bad diet but you’re gonna have to work twice as hard or you could just eat less.
You can’t workout a bad diet. And good nutrition will be giving you energy to have a good and efficient gym session. It’s even more important when it comes to build muscle. It gives you the power in your mind too.
