Answer

Depends on the duration, but I like to break my dryfasts with water hours before I put anything caloric into my system. I feel as though this has helped immensely with any digestion issues. Also keep your first meal very small do not over stuff yourself otherwise the flood gates will be a comin

Answer

It largely depends on what you eat. If you go back to a processed food diet, your digestion will suffer. Dry fasting is part of the healing; the other half relies on what you refeed with and maintain afterwards

I’ve only done 48 hour dry fasts, but, from my experience, my digestion has improved greatly! I break my dry fast with an hour-ish water fast which includes 16 oz plain water and 20 oz home brew electrolyte water with organic ACV, which has probiotics. Then I eat whatever I want for 2 or 3 hours. After my meal, I flush & hydrate (water fast) with the same liquids I break my fast with and dry fast again. I’m on my third round of these rolling 48s and feel great. I plan to go to rolling 72s and eventually, working my way up to a 7 day fast.
