It varies on how long the stomach, kidneys, the liver, etc can handle it. I would assume you would realize it’s a really bad idea before all the fat is burnt.

Does the ketone thing work? Yes, it does and using fact as energy isn’t rocket science, however, there’s more than energy in the staying alive thing. And even keto has potential side effects. Your idea would make them kick in super fast. Having eggs, lettuce, etc. would make thing a lot easier.

I once saw a doc about a dude who did it for a year and lost a couple hundred lbs. He’d do the occasional veggie shake but it was basically no food for a year. Can’t remember the name of the doc though.

They would need to get some glucose somehow (from carbs or protein) or their body would breakdown their muscle tissue, including their heart, to make glucose for their brain…and then they would die of heart failure.
