I have to lose about 55 pounds. Will Intermittent Fasting work to make me lose all of the weight, or does it stop working at some point?
The body is extremely adaptable. Eventually you will plateau and your body will just get use to the calorie deficient and eating habits. When you get there, switch up your eating windows (times and durations) and adjust your caloric intake. Keep the body guessing.
What you’ll hear is that you need to continuously restrict more and more calories as your weight comes off, in order to keep the weight loss going. Sure, sounds doable. It’s a weight loss diet, after all.
What will you do when you achieve your goal? Stay down at that restricted calorie input forever?
