How long of a fast for a total system reset?

Hi all, long story short I need to reset my body from the inside by fasting with water only. not even doing black coffee. the most I’ve done was 36 hours But I don’t feel that was enough. How long should I go to reset my entire system to get all the junk out?

Unless you change your eating habits, it’s not going to matter. I have been fasting off and on since 2000 and I always put the weight back on. Need to cut out ALL processed foods. Processed foods don’t need as much digestion because they are processed, it is why we have a nation of people who eat tums. If your stomach is not doing it’s job, there will be digestive issues. I had them. So in a sense…you can do a reset but if you don’t change … then nothing will change. I can’t eat any processed foods…my body no longer tolerated it.

I don’t know if there is really a set time, experience would tell me that three days is like a ‘Service’ to use a car analogy while five to seven days could be likened to a strip down and clean.

To get a total reset however, something like a complete rebuild could take much longer or a continued fasting regime.

And to speak of getting junk out of your body I was once on day four of a water fast (included black coffee) when a skin cancer (non life threatening, I live in Australia so its not uncommon) literally burst out of my skin and within three days there was no sign it was ever there.

That was enough to convince me I was on the right path.
