I have a bit of a spare tire that I’ve been trying to figure out how to get rid of.
I stopped drinking any alcohol at the beginning over the year and have been intermittent fasting (16 hours fast, 8 hours eat) with some very moderate exercise for almost two weeks. I know the scale won’t tip over night, but want to set my expectations.
What did you see over the first few weeks?
Same as you 16:8 to start I was 241 lbs 6’1. First two weeks lost about 7 lbs. I’m doing 20:4 now and down to 222. Been doing this for about six weeks. I do a lot of exercise though. Peloton 45 mins every other day and weight training on the other day.
feeling less bloated, pants fit looser for sure after about a week, more vascular around my forearms, definitely sleeping better at night but do want to change my eating window to end around 6 or 7 as its ending at 8pm and im eating within a half hour of the end of my eating window and going to bed around 10pm and still feeling kinda full.
