How long until you start to see real results?

I just started IF and I am wondering how long did it take for you to see noticeable results.

Scale results? Within the first week. Clothes fitting better/getting loose? Within the first month. Visible in the mirror results? It was probably about two months before I could see that for myself, because I look every day… but others were seeing the weight loss within the first month.

First week - Mainly water weight and your body adjusting to this new regime.

2nd and 3rd week - Depending on your food intake (low-carb, KETO, normal) there may be some minimal weight loss. But NSV, you should be feeling better, less bloated, your sleep cycle might improve. For me, even my skin gets better.

4th week onwards - You should start seeing consistent weight loss, and even if it’s not the scale you might notice clothes fit and face gains. The variables are: Calorie intake, exercise or not, food plan.

Usually about the 8th to 10th week you might experience some plateauing. But since your body is now accustomed to IF, it will be easier for you to switch things a bit or add a workout or add other layers to your regime like calorie cycling or longer fasts.
