3.5k cals is 1 lb of fat
If you burn 2k cals a day doing nothing than you can expect to lose around 1.25lb or so of fat if you do nothing during fast. Add in some cardio and 2lbs could be achieved. The maths don’t lie lol.
Depends on BMR, stats and activity. I have a BMR of about 1,400 and a TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) of about 2,100 - 2,400 per day. If calories in are 0, this translates to a 4,200 - 4,800 kcal burn in 48 hours, so about 1.2-1.3 lb of fat.
Let’s say last meal is on Monday. <-eat food, start fast.
In 24 hours it’s Tuesday. <- don’t eat food
In 48 hours it’s Wednesday. <- eat food, finish fast.
So basically you don’t eat for 1 day, in a 2 day fast.
