A bag of frozen taro says 67 cal per 100g 13.3G of carbs 0g of fat and 2.2g of protein which seems right but by googling taro seems to be over 110cal per 100g, I plan on eating this a lot so that is a huge difference if the bag is wrong.
Always believe the label, not the information found on the internet.
I also think frozen and not frozen fruits and vegs can have different caloric inhalt, because when you put something in the freezer the moisture from the air surrunding the fruit will also freeze out, to the surface of the fruit. So freezing makes the mass of the fruit higher, and by this its caloric density lower
