Hey everyone I’ve been sticking to one meal a day for about a month now and prior to was doing a 18:6 fast. Starting weight was 217 currently at 179 trying to get down to 165. For reference I’m 5’6 29 years old and an electrician so I am active throughout the work day I’m curious what I should be aiming for in regards to calories with my one meal. Ive been sticking to Keto for 2 months and have eliminated wheat from my diet entirely. My calorie intake can fluctuate anywhere from 800 to 1400 cal with my one meal. I want to start being more strict with my calorie intake. Thanks :)
Use a TDEE calculator (link) to figure out your TDEE, and then aim for something less than that that will help you shed pounds.
As a full grown man working a rigorous job, I probably would not consume less than about 1,800 cals per day.
For context, I work an office job…but I’m pretty active swimming laps 3-4x per week and I eat somewhere between 1,500-2,000 cals per day.
