I think you would have to be well over the dietary guidelines ongoing over a period of time before it would cause issues.

I don’t think you could be in a situation where you’re totally normal but you have just one too many bananas and suddenly you’re in hyperkalemic state, unless you have an underlying medical condition where you have to be extra careful.
