How much time does it take for bloated belly to go away due to sparkling drinks?

I’ve been fasting for over a year now, lost a total of 12kg~ and am pretty much where I want right now in terms of weight, except for my belly, which I feel is bloated probably due to sparkling drinks, like coke zero, beer, and so on… I don’t drink them every day but I do it once in a while and am considering if this is the cause for my belly fat to remain so stubborn after this much time. Anyone got any insights on how much does it take for that effect to get out of your system?

I apologize for any mistakes as English in not my native language, and this is the best group I’ve found on the matter, thanks!

If your weight is where you would like it to be but you notice that you still have an extended stomach after eating or drinking certain things there’s usually no way around it other than to drop those things from your diet. Especially noticing your stomach bloat up after having a diet soda or something like that. Either the aspartame is having an extremely negative effect on your microbiome in your bowel or you are allergic to something in the soda. In either situations it’s causing inflammation to your intestines and making them larger and causing the belly issue you’re describing.

Answer

You can’t remove fat off specific parts and the only real thing that influences how stubborn fat is on certain areas of your body is genetics/hormones. You can try exercising your core to tighten up the skin and muscles there, but it won’t target the fat. You’ll just have to lose more weight to lose the belly fat.
