Answer

you need more than plain water. If you only drink basic water you will lose all of your electrolytes and start getting dizzy and weak. keep it up long enough and you will lose consciousness

here is a recipe for electrolyte water to drink when fasting. This is not ALL the water you drink in a day but it is this in combination with plain water that will keep your body balanced

Water=2L / 67.6 oz
Potassium chloride =1 tsp (No Salt)
Sodium Bicarbonate = 1 tsp (Baking Soda)
Sodium chloride = 1/2 tsp (Himalayan Pink Salt)
Magnesium Sulphate = 1/2 tsp (Food Grade Epsom Salts)

you can also ad a dash of lime for flavor

supplement with vitamin C and B12 and selenium for the first week as well to offset the sickening effect of toxin releasing into the bloodstream as the body begins to consume its own fat reserves that hold those toxins

Answer

I like to add a pinch of mineral rich sea salt to my waters when fasting since my blood pressure always leans on the lower side. It prevents any dizziness for me. Just drink a normal amount for your weight and more if you’re exercising.
