How often should I do 72 hour fast for immunity and tissue rebuild?

I regularly do an 18:6 before ever reading up about fasting

I want to reset my immune system coming into winter so doing a 72 hour fast within next 60 days seems logical I also have aches/pains in leg for a few years with muscle damage (no medical treatment ever helped, and I tried it all) How often would I need to do 72 hour fasts over say 6 months to actually help this or know that it is helping? Once a month? Totally clueless and looking for guidance here thanks

Answer

Based on my own experience, I try and do a 72 hour fast once a month. Typically the first weekend of the month I will not eat.

What makes you think fasting will fix this? Are you also one a regular workout/stretching routine for those muscle groups?
