Everyone prefers and has a different approach, but I would recommend checking out “low calorie-high volume eating”. It allows you to to eat massive quantities of filling and tasty foods all while making it as easy as possible to stay in a caloric deficit

Just make sure you eat a good amount of vegetables FIRST anytime you get hungry and start eating. A big salad or good portion of steamed of sautéed or grilled vegetables. After that, make sure eat a protein. After that, go ahead and eat whatever you want. Takes very little will power and it will greatly reduce the amount of fattening or unhealthy things you eat. In other words, try to never start any eating period by eating the fattening foods you like to eat. Follow this plan of ordered eating and your weight will stabilize then gradually go down to a healthier level.

You have some options! I also wanna note that weight is not a measure of health - I’d suggest shifting focus to your measurements if you have aesthetic concerns, because muscle weighs more than fat… so if you start exercising and build muscle, you may not lose weight but your body composition will change!

Exercise more: if you wanna keep eating well, this is the way. The best exercise is what you can do consistently - I love strength training, it makes my body look great, and it makes me super hungry.

Add healthy food: this is like the anti-restrictive way to “diet”. If you’re craving chips, have chips, and also make yourself veggies and hummus. You’ll eat healthier, and probably eat less chips.

Counting calories is tough to maintain, and is not the only option! Also, if you dont eat enough calories in a day, you can negatively impact your metabolism and see no progress… eating enough food to satisfy your hunger needs is very important!
