How to combat grumpiness so I can fast longer?

I finished my 10th fast today am down 3 kg/7 lbs which feels good, not sure if it will continue like this. My goal was to do 18:6 but I’ve been able to push it to 22:2 some days, but I am so grumpy to my poor partner those last 2 hours! As I compromise I usually do 20:4. I drink black coffee in the mornings which gives me energy. Towards the end of the fast I don’t feel so hungry so I would like to keep going for autophagy, but I become a much less nice person haha. Any tips? I’m started to wonder if it could be related to my (currently non-medicated ADD).

Give your body time to adjust. Start with a 12 for a few days, then work your way to 16, and 18 and so on. Jumping too quick into 20+ hour fast will def make you grumpy as your body isn’t used to that many hours without food yet.
