How to do extended fasting without craving for food ?

Hi,

I used to be able to do 14 day fasts (no food, just salty water).
However, I have become more fat, and now when I get to 48h mark, I get dizzy and weak.
Also, when I sleep on the side, I lose feeling in my hand (numbness).
Should I up the salt intake ?

Anyone experienced.

Larger body mass means you may need more than what you used to take. You could go up the sodium and potassium, but don’t forget the magnesium, especially during extended fasting like that! Fatigue and muscle weakness are early signs of low magnesium level.
