I feel like this question sounds very silly, but I’m thinking of giving OMAD a try and want to make sure I’m getting the most out of both the lifestyle and the food I eat.
How does one go about eating one meal a day “the right way?” Like how many calories should the meal be, how do I make sure I’m getting enough nutrients, how do I keep away the cravings, what specific foods should I incorporate, etc.?
Like am I overthinking things? It’s gotta be more complex then just “eat one meal a day.” Right?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
I work third shift so I just don’t eat at work all night, go home go to bed and then eat dinner with the fam when I get up. Usually eat a bigger meal and a snack/dessert an hour after. Ends up being like 22hr fast every day. I get about 1500 calories in that time lol. I’ve been steady losing 2+ lbs a week. I’ve definitely noticed an increase in energy and focus.
