How to get ride of vaping once and for all ?

The only thing I really struggle right now is the vape addiction. It’s going on since more than 9 years.

I just want to stop but always relapse, Im so used to work and vape (remote work) that I can’t seem to work without vaping.

Any suggestions?

I used nicotene patches. In the beginning id remove them so I could vape. I threw out the vapes. Honestly I crave vapes daily. I dont vape anymore unless I hit a coworker or neighbors vape. It helps to have friends ans family who don’t vape. Pick people carefully. I’ll probably buy a ten dollar disposable once in a while. Once a year let’s say. To me thats practically perfect abstinence. I didnt do it long, about a year, and not consistently at all. Also, take up running. I had to stop vaping because my lungs and heart hurt with every puff and I still couldn’t stop

Trust me, I know it sounds like bullshit, but order a copy of Alan Carr’s book, Easy Way to Quit Smoking and Vaping. The idea is that it logically explains why nicotine is bullshit and changes your mindset on the whole experience, truly making you lose desire for the habit. I’d heard about it but figured it was a gimmick, but picked it up when I stopped being able to go 15 min without vaping (was even waking up at night to vape). It encourages you to vape while you read the book and not make any sudden changes and, I shit you not, I quit before even finishing the book (maybe two chapters left). I really encourage everyone to pick up a copy and earnestly read it, even if just trying to debunk it like I did. Changed my whole perspective on how habits, addiction and mindset really work.
