How to go back to it again?

Hey everyone, even if I know how my health positively turns out when I am doing IF, I am not able to go back in my routine; it is already 2 months. Any advice from who experienced the same?

It’s just a matter of doing it. No secrets, no tricks. Just start today (or tomorrow if today’s already a wash). I’ve been out of it for over a year and just decided a few days ago to get back to it. 16:8 for the past 3 days. Good news is I’ve already seen a spike in my energy levels, and generally feeling better than I have been overall.

Answer

Keep sugar intake low. Sugar stimulates your appetite. The more sugar you eat the harder it is to IF.

Getting back into IF, if I’m finding it very hard to deal with, I will drink a low-carb slim fast when I get hungry earlier in the day. I do that for about a week or two until I don’t need it anymore.

However if I eat something crappy the day before, I will definitely be hungry in the morning the next day.

Ok so the first few days back will be brutal so I suggest to start on a day when you’ll be mentally strongest. Perhaps the weekend? What helped me was to isolate myself from others the first few days bc of temptations. Now that’s it’s been like 5 days back I have no issues so far. I was able to turn down free coldstone ice cream tonight and be around others eating it and I didn’t even crave it :) you can do it!!
