how to keep motivation

I’m very new to fasting. I’ve tried intermittent fasting this week but I want to go a full 5 days. I struggle with adhd and I eat constantly because I need the stimulation otherwise I get anxious. This week however, I want to try and improve my relationship with food and find other forms of more production stimulation. I’m amazed at people who have the discipline to do this for ages. I just want to go one week however. Does anybody have some advice on getting atarted/through it

Depending on how much you typically eat and what type of foods you typically eat, if you go on a no-food fast, you may feel a little more sickly at first if you eat a lot of junk food but if that does happen, it mostly goes away, or at least did for me. When I did a five day fast recently, first two days, I waited until the end of the day and allowed myself 300 calories, then for the next three days I ate nothing. What helped me the most: having a plan of things to do. I work from home and have a pretty chill personal assistant job so I made sure to have movies lined up that I wanted to watch, a list of things to do like clean out my closet, organize my bathroom, what type of workout I would do, etc. - ya know, just typical stuff to do but writing it down or having a plan on how to pass the time really helped me. Honestly towards the end, looking at recipes and yummy food on Pinterest helped me but I don’t know if that would be good for most people, seems a little weird I guess
