How to kill time when not eating?

Seriously? I get so bored whenever i try to fast, which results me into eating everything on site

Run errands. Nap. Do a face mask. Shower. Deep clean a bathroom. Go through a messy drawer or closet. Drop off donations. Watch a TV show. Go for a walk. Go for a drive. Drive thru the coffee shop and get a black decaf coffee. Drive to a coffee or tea shop even farther away. Go to Target and walk around aimlessly. Play around on Zillow and pretend I am moving somewhere. Spend hours and hours on Reddit. Read a book. Do yoga. Listen to a podcast. Call or FaceTime a family member or friend. Schedule appointments and go to them (getting my hair done tonight, 2 hours of time I won’t even have the opportunity to eat). Do a puzzle. Do a craft. Work out. Put on Taylor Swift and Charlie Puth and just dance.

Use your time to get more information about fasting for example. YouTube, Google, Reddit or start reading some books about that topic or other topics which interest you.

Start working on your mental health. Meditation, Journaling, or going for a walk in the park. Working out, do some exercise.

Start a new hobby. Maybe learn a new instrument?

Just take some time to be by yourself. Journal about yourself and your life. I mean, what do you want to do? What interests do you have? Deep down I think you know what you wan’t to do, or can do.

Just give yourself time to think and reflect. Do this every day, and you will find you answers without a doubt :)

I’m an avid crocheter and it really helps keep my hands busy and my mind preoccupied. I’ve recently took up knitting now as a new part of my hobby. I’ve decided that with my weight loss with fasting, I’m rewarding myself with the things I’m making with my knitting and crocheting rather than treating myself with food.

Food comes and goes but my craft will keep on going and that’s what I keep reminding myself.
