I haven’t done the snake diet in a while, and I’m planning to do it a ton this summer, but last time I did the snake juice tasted so NASTY it was hard to drink. Is there an easier way to take it? It was torture. I also felt like shit and had no energy and had to lay down all the time despite supplementing electrolytes. Do I drink a multivitamin as well or is that useless?
What I do is mix in (2 liter water recipe) 1/2 cup ACV, and 1/2 cup Organic lemon juice. I add 4 tsp of pyure granulated stevia (no impact on blood sugar/insulin) to all the salts (2tsp each of magnesium, potassium and sodium), and finally about 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper. I like the taste of that. Drink it with a straw to spare your teeth a little bit from the high acid content. Oh and keep it in the fridge…. It’s much better cold. Enjoy!

of course if you havent done fasting or keto for some longer periods, your body is used to getting “fresh energy” put into the system all the time and there is no need for the body to make use of its own energy stores. the body needs to “learn” to use the body fat and this might take some time, thats why you feel weak and tired, for some it takes some days for others it might take weeks, low intensity cardio maybe of help
if you want to make the water bit more tasty, drink caffinefree coffee with the salts or put some drops of lemon juice in the snake juice
I’m not sure why, but the packets seems to taste better than anytime I tried to make the mix myself.
You could also try to go on the high-end of the water amounts to dilute the taste a bit more…but I wouldn’t do that too much since that would defeat the purpose of the electrolyte mix in the first place.
Also, how many days did you fast before? I did it for a week once (following a week or so of plain water fasting) and it tasted better than any other time I tried. Like, I got all the other cravings out of my system and compared to regular water, Snake Juice was a treat lol
