When you cheat and eat food, do you actually enjoy it, or just feel guilty? For me, the food is never as good as the satisfaction of overcoming those urges. I find that food tends to taste better when I show restraint and wait for it. When I get those cravings, I check out this sub and r/progresspics and find inspiration from the success stories of others. Best of luck to you.
I’m doing OMAD, and so far I found it helps to reward myself with a mini-cheat for a job well done.
I allow myself one piece of my favorite candy every night. No diet zero-calories nonsense - just old fashioned sugar and food coloring or whatever is in there.
I can really loom forward to it, and savour the moment. And afterwards, I’m good to go. Maybe still a bit hungry but hey, I just got my award!
Been there! I’m only about 2 months in…I’m getting better but I get sooooooo hungry at night…it’s maddening 🤬 I try to stop eating by 5-6pm because I have silent reflux…or LPR…when I get into bed. So…I mostly just grit my teeth 🤷♀️ Literally ALL I think about is food at night though…and worse yet…I watch YouTube cooking videos half the night (big mistake probably) 😂😂 All I can say is…I’m glad I don’t go shopping then or I’d be broke…because I’m not even hungry when I wake up the next day.
