Hypothetical question about IF amd Calorie Intake

So im only on my 4th month, and i had a question about Calorie intake and the process of IF. Ill ask in a hypothetical scenario: So lets say before starting IF, my calorie intake was more or less my TDEE (no deficit or surplus). If i were to do 18:6, but not change my calorie intake at all, would i still burn body fat, or would nothing change?

Answer

Little or no difference. Weight loss is about consistency over long periods. So you’re either in maintenance, surplus, or deficit regardless of how small a window you are consuming those calories in.

Think about it when stretched out to weeks and months, not just a single day.
