How much better/worse would this be? I want to eat a piece of ginger every morning for 3 days for whatever reason
You won’t be able to call it a dry fast. Your body already has everything it needs to heal during a dry fast.
Ginger produces heat in the body according to ayurveda (you will feel a burn in your throat anyway depending upon the quantity). It is a potent herb to be sure and especially during winters but for the purpose of a dey fast: first it will make your fast significantly harder psychologically as it will lead to secretion of digestive juices and a mild insulin response making you feel hungry.
