You’re fine. Fasting has tons of benefits and it’s ok if your fast is not SUPREMELY PURE AND PERFECT. It’s a lifestyle, not a crash diet. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Everyone “slips up” but the ultimate goal is to strive toward being a healthier you. Lick some batter? It’s not like you ate a piece of cake. Ate a piece of cake? It’s not like you ate the entire cake. Part of fasting, that I particularly enjoy the most, is increasing my self awareness and learning how to forgive myself for little slips here and there because I know I’ll do better next time.
