I experienced this before and even gained more weight.
Its important to not put junk food in ur system after a long period of breaking down and recycling old proteins.
I found that exercising less on the days I eat less is a way to balance hormetic stressors because fasting like that is a serious stress to the body. Its important to chill out and balance ur other stressors while fasting. You don’t want cortisol to remain elevated too long.
I think it’s because you are hungry all the time. Try reducing sugars, upping fiber & soluble fiber with a probiotic at meals.
How long have you been doing this? If it’s only been a few weeks, you may just need to go for more time before scale moves.
If you have been doing this longer, maybe shake it up with a longer fast, then do a bigger meal at the end so you eat to satisfy. Then go back to your preferred fasting.
Your body could have gotten used to the reduced calories. I’d eat your normal tdee plus more for working out for a couple of weeks. Then do some 36 hour fast once a week. If you are already close to low bodyfat, your body might be trying to hold onto every last bit.
