I am 66 kg male I want to do dry fast for better health its all okay when i am awake but after like 34 hours usually when I go to sleep I wake up after 4 or 5 hours I try to get back to sleep I close my eyes and I see this vivid almost a dream where I am doing somthing like killing people or watching a movie with no real script just distortion I can’t stop thinking about what am seeing or ignoring it feel bad I only can sleep when I drink water so I do and fail I tried it 5 times and always fail at 35 hours should i push through that or is that my body limit for being 66kg
I’ve done a 3-day fast about 3 times, I think. It’s doable. Each time, I was neither hungry nor thirsty. It was really weird to be on Day 3 and not thirsty. The junk food cravings, however, are insane. I find myself feeling like a smoker needing a cigarette.
Ive done a 5 day alternating soft and hard dry fast and I dont think ive ever slept better than when I rehydrated after it. It was almost 9 hours of an uninterrupted, perfect REM cycle knockout. Un Fucking Real what it does and puts in perspective
Currently on day 7 of an 11 1/2 day dry fast. You can do it, the thing that I find that has helped me the most is reading about dry fasting. People’s experiences, the health benefits along with everything else, I finished the whole book the Pheonix protocol which outlines exactly what you’re gonna be feeling each day more or less and why. I notice I’m way better off in cooler environments as well. Best thing is to keep your mind busy on tasks that don’t require too much energy. Keep your eye on the prize, each time you get a craving or low energy, remind yourself that this is your body healing, whatever you’re feeling shall pass and you’ll feel good again, on top of the reason you WILL reach your goal. I’ve previously done a 5 day one and yes I can tell you the more fasts you have under your belt, the easier it gets as there’s less toxins in Ya I feel. My minds all there, I KNOW I WILL make it to the 11 1/2 days. Get yourself a scale that measure the other things in your body, water percentage, fat and all the other good stuff. Seeing those changes on the scale each day also help motivate me. Plus the fact that my body water percentage actually keeps going UP everyday, reminds me I’m doing well as well.
